About IKARA Restaurant
Ikara is a premium fine dining restaurant in Midtown Atlanta, showcasing regional Indian cuisine with authenticity and refinement. Each dish highlights flavors from across India, presented with elegance in a luxurious and contemporary setting, ideal for special occasions and elevated dining experiences.
Located at 361 17th St NW Twelve, Atlanta, GA 30363, IKARA Restaurant operates as an indian restaurant serving Atlanta in Georgia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Atlanta, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Georgia run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 amβ2:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (678) 904-0313. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, ikararestaurant.com.
With 4.2 out of 5 on Google from 429 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for indian restaurants in Atlanta. Recent reviews are the best guide.
Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Atlanta follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Absolutely loved this place. The ambiance was amazing. The music was at perfect volume. The food was phenomenal! The drinks were 10/10. The price point made sense. I will definitely be back here. Our waitress Shivani was amazing and so knowledgeable about the menu.

Beautiful restaurant and service. Our waitress Shibani was super friendly and knew the menu well! She offered great suggestions throughout our meal and was very attentive to our party. There was a lot of thought put into the cocktail menu and they were great but were inconsistent in flavor and presentationβI think they are still trying out different ways to make some cocktails, which was fine. The variations of the same drink tasted great. I will say the bartender places WAY too much ice in the cocktails and it takes away from the flavor. They also had great desserts however they didnβt have chai to go with it. Chai is a NECESSITY with Indian desserts, so that was a bit disappointing. All in all, I would return because the food was great! I also hope to see how things improve next time I visit!

We came here for Fatherβs Day and it was full full! Luckily we had reservations. We had high hopes that the food was going to be exceptional, and sure enough we couldnβt stop talking about the food through the day! The interior was beautiful that teleported you to an upscale restaurant in Mumbai. Staffs were also for attentive and friendly. Canβt wait to go back for the mutton shank π₯°

We had an amazing experience at IKRAA. After making a reservation, I checked the reviews and honestly got a little concerned, but I decided to give it a try β and it was absolutely worth it. Donβt just focus on the negative reviews; give this place a chance. Our server, Vinay, made sure we had a truly mesmerizing night. The food was top-notch, and he checked on us during every single course to make sure we were enjoying everything. His hospitality and attention to detail really made the experience special. The firni was delicious, and so were the dal makhani and roomali roti. Everything was flavorful and beautifully served. Thank you for such a wonderful evening β weβll definitely be back again.
